Eva now supports IMAP, meaning you can connect any email provider — from iCloud to Yahoo, Zoho Mail, Namecheap, Ionos , and more.

🔐 Why Connect?

To manage your inbox, Eva needs access via your email provider.

✅ Step-by-Step: Connecting Your IMAP Inbox

  1. Open Eva and Go to Email Settings
    You’ll be prompted with:

“I'm almost ready to manage your inbox.”

  2. Choose “IMAP”
Click the IMAP tab to proceed with a custom or non-Google/Outlook setup.

  3. Click "Connect an Account"
A provider list will appear. Choose your provider (e.g., AOL, Gmail, iCloud), or scroll down and select IMAP for manual setup.

  4. Enter Your Email Credentials
    You’ll need:

    • IMAP server address (e.g., imap.yourprovider.com) & Port

    • SMTP server address & Port

    • Your email or username + password (or app-specific password)

  5. That’s It!
Once connected, Eva will start helping you organize, summarize, and action emails — like a real assistant would.

💡 Tip: If you use Gmail or Outlook, try their direct options under the respective tabs.

❗️Note: Eva does not support the following email providers:

  • Proton Mail

  • Office365 Private or National Clouds including 21Vianet

🔧 If you are having issues connecting your email via IMAP:

We recommend reaching out to your webmail provider directly for correct SMTP and IMAP Host and Port values. As these values differ from provider to provider, we cannot provide these values to you.

If you still have issues after entering values provided to you from your provider, please reach out to support.
