I've connected to Eva with IMAP but I can't see emails come in!

If you've connected your email via IMAP successfully, and Eva is letting you know that she can see your emails but you aren't seeing them in your inbox, there might be additional settings you'll need to adjust.

If you are using Outlook as your email client

You will need to subscribe to your IMAP folders as they do not show up in Outlook by default. To subscribe to folders created by Eva:

  • In Outlook, in the Navigation Pane, right-click the top folder for your IMAP account (usually this is the email address itself).

  • Click IMAP Folders.

  • Click Query.

  • Click a folder, and then click Subscribe or Unsubscribe.

Note: To select multiple folders, press and hold CTRL as you click folder names.

Once you have subscribed to the folders successfully, they should start to appear in Outlook within the navigation pane on the left. This can take a minute!
