Walter Will Try to Fix It Automatically
When a publish attempt fails, Walter runs his own diagnostics, identifies what went wrong, and adjusts the site to produce a version that can go live. This process may take more than one attempt, but in most cases Walter resolves it without any input from you. If you want to speed things up, you can also ask Walter directly what went wrong. He can diagnose the issue and walk you through what he's doing to fix it.
What You Should (and Shouldn't) Do
Wait it out. If Walter reports a failed attempt, let him try again before taking any action.
Don't keep retrying manually. Repeated manual publish attempts on top of Walter's automatic retries can make the situation harder to diagnose.
Contact support if it keeps failing. If the site still won't publish after several attempts, that's the signal to escalate.
⚠️ If the issue persists after multiple failed attempts, do not keep retrying on your own. Reach out to the support team so the issue can be investigated directly.
