How Do Penny and Walter Work Together to Publish Blog Posts?

Penny writes your blog posts. Walter publishes them to the site he built. When both are active in the same workspace, they connect automatically, no extra setup needed.

How It Works

Once Walter is part of your workspace, Penny will show a publish option by default when a blog post is ready. From there, the flow is straightforward:

Step

Who

What happens

1

Penny

Writes the blog post based on your topic or instruction.

2

You

Review the draft, request any edits, and confirm when it's ready to publish.

3

Penny

Sends the post to the blog section of your Walter site.

4

Walter

Publishes the post to the live site once the publish step is completed.

💡 Reviewing and editing with Penny in draft mode is completely free. Only the final publish step consumes hours.

Before You Publish the First Post

A couple of things to confirm before sending your first post from Penny to Walter:

  • Enable Connect with Penny on Walter’s settings so he creates the blog post section automatically.

  • Walter's site should be live and published before the first integration, so the blog section is visible to visitors as soon as the post goes up.

Best Practices

  • Review before publishing. Use Penny's draft mode to adjust tone, structure, and content before committing to publish.

  • Space out your posts. Publishing several posts in one session works, but spreading them out keeps your content cadence natural and avoids a spike in hour consumption.

  • Use a scheduled Task for recurring content. If you run a weekly blog, set up a Task so Penny generates the draft automatically each week. Review and approve before Walter publishes.

⭐ Pro tip: Not sure how to set up a recurring Task? Open Penny's chat and ask her to set it up for you. She'll walk you through it.
