Walter Builds a Separate Copy
When Walter recreates your site, he builds a brand new, independent version inside Marblism's own infrastructure. Your original site (whether it lives on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, or anywhere else) stays exactly where it is, completely untouched.
Think of it like building a second house next to your first one. The original is still standing. Walter is just constructing something new alongside it.

💡 There is no risk of losing or breaking your original site while working with Walter. Any changes made through Walter only affect the new version he builds.
What Happens if You Connect Your Domain to Walter
Your domain can only point to one place at a time. If you decide to connect your custom domain to your Walter site, visitors will start seeing the Walter version instead of the original. Your original site does not disappear; it still exists at your original hosting provider. The domain just redirects traffic to Walter's version.
⚠️ Once your domain points to Walter, your original site won't be visible at that address. It's still there and fully intact, but you'd need to update your DNS records to point back to your original host if you ever want to switch back.
Can I Go Back to My Original Site?
Yes, always. Since Walter never modifies your original site, it remains available at your original hosting provider. If you ever want to switch back, simply update your domain's DNS records to point to your original host again.
