How Stan Protects Your Sender Reputation (Daily Sending Limits)

Stan is built to generate leads and send outreach at scale, but smart outreach means protecting your sender reputation as much as it means reaching new contacts. That's why Stan has some limits designed to keep your emails out of the spam folders.

What are Stan's sending limits?

Limit

Value

Maximum emails per day

200

Minimum gap between emails

1 email every 5 minutes

Sending start window

8:00–11:00 AM (workspace timezone)

These limits are not arbitrary, they mirror the sending patterns of a human salesperson and help email providers (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) see Stan as a legitimate sender rather than a bot.

Why does this matter?

If an email account sends too many messages too quickly, email providers flag it as suspicious. This can lead to:

  • Emails going to spam instead of the inbox

  • Your domain being flagged or blacklisted

  • Reduced deliverability across all your outreach, even legitimate emails

Stan's throttled sending is your protection against all of this.

What if I need to send more?

If 200 emails per day isn't enough for your volume, try creating another workspace with a different email account connected, upgrading Stan's plan only increases his capacity to source leads, but the rule to avoid spam flagging cannot be overlooked. Check out the Should I Upgrade Stan's Capacity? article for guidance on when an upgrade makes sense.
