If Penny is writing your blogs but they're not making it to your website, the most common culprit is a missing or unconfigured blog section on your site. Here's what that means and how to fix it.
The Most Common Reason
For Penny to publish directly to your website, she needs a dedicated blog section to send the content to. She connects to your site via an API and pushes posts to that destination — but if that destination doesn't exist, she has nowhere to send them.
This can happen with websites that were built primarily as landing pages or portfolios, without a blog module ever being set up. It's easy to overlook, especially if you've never needed a blog section before.
⚠️ This applies to all our website platforms integration: WordPress, Wix, Webflow, and Shopify. Even if Penny is connected to your site, a missing blog section will prevent publishing.
How to Fix It
The good news: this is usually a straightforward fix on your website platform. Here's what to do:
Log in to your website management system (WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, etc.).
Add or enable a dedicated blog section. Most platforms have a built-in blog module — look for options like "Blog", "Posts", or "News" in your site settings or page builder.
Publish the blog section so it's live on your site.
Make sure all necessary connections between your site and Marblism are active.
Head back to Penny and try publishing again — she'll now recognize the destination and push your posts through.
💡 Not sure how to add a blog section to your specific platform? Search for "[your platform] + add blog" — most platforms have a quick setup guide for this.
Already Have a Blog Section?
If your website does have a blog section and Penny still can't publish, the issue is likely something else — a connection setting, permissions, or a configuration detail that needs a closer look.
