What happens when I run out of capacity?

Written by Ulric Musset

"Capacity" is the pool of monthly hours your AI team shares. If you use it all before your hours reset, you'll see "Your team went to the beach".

What stops, and what doesn't

  • Work already in progress finishes.

  • Scheduled tasks that come due are cancelled. A recurring task keeps its next date.

  • Eva stops sorting new emails. Stan stops his daily outreach and lead searches, but emails he already queued that day still go out.

  • Rachel's line pauses. If call transfer is on, callers are transferred to you. Otherwise she asks them to call back later.

  • Chat messages get an out-of-office reply with a link to your billing page.

How to get going again

  • Right away: move to a bigger plan from My Account → Usage and billing → Upgrade. You get the new plan's full monthly hours immediately.

  • Or wait: your hours refresh on your monthly reset date, shown on your billing page.

Cancelled tasks and skipped emails aren't replayed after an upgrade or a reset, so ask your agents to pick up anything you still need.

💡 Different messages mean different things. "Your team went to the beach": your monthly hours are used up. "You've reached your hours cap": the workspace owner set a limit for you. "{Agent} has reached their limit and clocked out for the day": a daily fair-use limit, and the agent comes back on its own tomorrow. "{Agent} is taking a short break": the agent is paused (see How do I reactivate an agent that's stuck on a break?).

Team member? Only the workspace owner can change the plan, so ask them. See Marblism pricing plans & billing cadence for plan sizes.
