Can I have my own number for Rachel?

Rachel comes with her own number. Here's how to still get calls to the right place.

Written by Alicia

Rachel is automatically assigned a phone number when she's set up; it's not possible to choose or bring your own custom number at this time.

However, if you'd like calls to reach a specific number (such as your business line), you can enable call transfer in Rachel's settings. This allows Rachel to transfer calls directly to the number of your choice, so your callers still get to the right place.

What's the difference between "Summarize in private" and "Transfer immediately"?

When Call Transfer is enabled, you can choose how Rachel hands off the call:

Summarize in private

Before transferring, Rachel will briefly speak with the person receiving the call (without the caller hearing) to give them a quick summary of the conversation. This way, whoever picks up is already up to speed.

Transfer immediately

Rachel transfers the call right away without any summary. The caller is connected directly, with no handoff briefing.

To set your transfer number, simply enter it in the phone number field below the toggle. You can choose a single number or multiple destinations.
