Here’s how to set it up 👇

🚀 Step-by-Step: Connect Wix to Penny

1. Generate Your First Article

Start by asking Penny to write a blog post for you.
Once it’s ready, open the article.

2. Click “Publish”

In the top right of the article view, click the “Publish” button.

3. Choose Wix

From the publishing options, select Wix.

4. Configure your connection

4.1. Where to find your Site ID?

Go on your Wix Dashboard, and click on the site you want to connect. The Site ID will be in the URL. Copy-paste it to the "Site ID" input on Marblism.

4.2. Where to find your API Key?

On Wix -> click on Account Settings.

Click on API Keys

Click on Generate API Key

Enter a name for your key, for example "Marblism".

Expand the "All site permissions" section by pressing "See all"

Select Wix blog for permissions. And finally, click on "Generate Key".

Copy-paste your generated API Key into the API Key field on Marblism.

This is the only time that you will see this key as it is considered sensitive information! Make sure that you copy and paste your API key somewhere safe on your computer before closing the box.

Your API key should begin with "IST.". If the string you have copied does not start with "IST.", then you will need to rotate your key to ensure that you have the correct API key.

4.3. I've lost my API Key, how do I get a new one?

In the event that you closed the pop up containing your API key and you did not copy it, you can generate a new one by rotating your key.

To rotate your API key:

Head back to the API Keys section of the Account Settings on your Wix account.

Click the 3 dots next to the name of your API Key under "Generated keys"

Select "Rotate Key" on the pop up

Follow the steps to get the verification code from the email linked to your Wix account, then press "Validate & Rotate Key"

Copy and paste your new API Key somewhere safe and into the API Key field on Marblism
