Once you have generated your first Facebook post with Sonny, click Publish. It will prompt you to link your Facebook account. Then you will be able to select the Facebook page you want to connect.
Make sure you are connected in your browser with the correct facebook account that owns the page. If it's not the correct one go on facebook.com, log out and log in with the right account, then return to Sonny to try linking your account again.
Now you should see all the Facebook pages you can connect. Just pick your page and voila!
Common issues:
I can't see my Facebook Page in the list
If you're not seeing your Facebook Page in the page, verify that:
Your Facebook Page is at least 7 days old.
Only Facebook Business Pages will show. Facebook does not allow Personal Pages to be linked.
Verify you are the admin of the Pages you want to connect.
Check you've granted all the required permissions
Why can't personal profiles be connected?
This restriction exists because of Facebook's API guidelines, which are designed to safeguard user privacy and data security. These rules only allow integration for business-oriented accounts like Facebook Pages but prevent third-party access to personal profiles.
"You may not be connected to the network..;"
If you receive the error: “Could not link your account to Facebook. You may not be connected to the network or we could not establish a connection with our server. Check your connection and try again later.”
The cause might be you’re using a newly created Facebook or Instagram account. Facebook states that “There is a 60-minute delay before new accounts can log in to any applications”.
Please wait 60 minutes and try again. However, we’ve seen new Facebook accounts take 5-7 days to be allowed to connect and publish posts.
"Facebook Login Disabled"
If you try to link your Facebook or Instagram account on an Android/Iphone device and receive this error
We recommend you link your account using on your laptop or desktop and once it's done you will be able to publish/schedule post from the Marblism mobile app.
Still having some issues? Make sure the permissions are granted
If you receive an error when posting that indicates Facebook permission issues or you don’t see a Facebook Page listed, it could be that some access permissions were not granted.
Access the Business Integration page by logging into your primary Facebook profile and go to Account -> Settings -> Settings & Privacy -> Business Integrations.
Edit Facebook Permissions
On the Business Integration page, click the Marblism posting app (it may appear as “Ayrshare”) and choose “View and Edit”.
Verify Facebook permissions
A pop-up will show. Scroll down to “Create and Manage Content on Your Page” and ensure that it is enabled. If you see a checkbox with “Pages” then check it to select all pages. Click “Save”.
Head back to Marblism. Click on Sonny > Settings > Social Accounts > Facebook. A pop up will open, click on the Page you want to unlink.
5. After it has been unlinked, re-link it. You should now have the correct permissions.
Still Having Issue with Facebook Permissions?
If the issue still persists, please go back into the Facebook admin settings under Business Integration and “Remove” the Marblism posting app (it may appear as “Ayrshare”). Go back into Marblism and unlink and relink Facebook. Make sure to enable all the permissions on the pop-up window!
