I have many profiles under my Instagram Account. How can I make sure to connect to the right one?

If you manage multiple brands, businesses, or personal handles under a single master Instagram login, connecting your account to Marblism can sometimes feel tricky.

When you log in using your general master credentials, the system will automatically connect to whatever profile is set as the default primary account.

To ensure Sonny connect to the exact business profile you want, follow this quick guide.

Step 1: Find your specific Profile Username

Do not use your master account email address or phone number when linking your workspace. Instead, you need the unique handle of the specific profile you want to connect.

  1. Open the Instagram app on your phone.

  2. Switch to the exact profile you want to link to Marblism.

  3. Look at the very top left of your screen, your exact @username is listed there. Write this down exactly as it appears (you don't need to include the "@" symbol when typing it into the login field).

Step 2: Clear your current browser session

If your browser is bypassing the login screen completely and automatically connecting to the wrong profile, do this:

  • Log out: Go to Instagram.com on your desktop browser and log out of all accounts.

  • Alternative Option: Open an Incognito / Private Window in your browser and log into Marblism from there to force a fresh login screen.

Step 3: Connect using the specific Username

Now you are ready to link the correct workspace profile inside Marblism:

  1. Navigate to Sonny's settings panel and click Connect accounts, select Instagram.

  2. When the Instagram login window pops up, do not type your master email or phone number.

  3. In the username field, type the specific profile handle you copied in Step 1.

  4. Type your standard account password and click Log In.

💡 Important Note: For Marblism agents to publish content automatically, your specific Instagram profile must be configured as a Creator/Business Account.
