What changes when I switch from an older plan to an hours plan?

How to tell which plan you are on, what is different, and how switching works.

Written by Ulric Musset

Marblism has two kinds of plans. Hours plans give your whole AI team one monthly pool of hours, and they're the only plans sold today (the app calls them "the new plan"). Older plans charge for seats and agent levels, and have daily limits. This page covers how to tell which one you're on, what's different, and how switching works.

Which plan am I on?

  • Open My Account. On an hours plan you see Usage and billing. On an older plan you see Subscription, with a Manage billing button.

  • Other signs of an older plan: Rachel's settings have an Experience tab and Stan's an Outreach Capacity tab, for their levels.

  • The plan belongs to the workspace owner, who pays for it. Teammates work on the owner's plan.

The same on both: Eva, Sonny, Penny, Stan, Rachel and Linda, the built-in connections (such as Gmail, Outlook, Instagram and LinkedIn), Stan's daily sending limits, and the daily fair-use limit ("clocked out for the day"). On an hours plan, work pauses when the month's hours run out, until they reset or you move up a plan.

Who can switch, and where

  • Only the workspace owner who pays for the older plan can switch. Teammates see "Ask your workspace owner to switch to the new plan to unlock these features."

  • Switch on the web at ai.marblism.com/switch-plan, or from a feature your plan doesn't include: the screen is called Unlock the new Marblism plan. Choose your hours, check the price, then click Switch & unlock everything.

  • All the workspaces you own switch together.

  • Don't use Upgrade Plan for this: on an older plan it only moves you to quarterly or yearly billing, and you stay on the older plan. The Upgrade button on Usage and billing is for hours plans.

  • You can't switch in the mobile app. If your older plan is set to cancel, has a failed payment, or the switch page doesn't open for you, ask us in the chat.

What happens when you switch

  • It applies right away. Your billing cadence (monthly, quarterly or yearly) and your renewal date stay the same.

  • Seat and level charges stop. You pay the difference for the rest of your current billing period on the day you switch: the screen shows it as Due today (prorated) before you confirm. Your discounts stay.

  • Your hours start that day, and reset every month on that date. It can be a different day from your renewal date.

  • Nothing is deleted: conversations, documents, leads, posts, the Brain, tasks, teammates, workspaces, connections and Rachel's number all stay. Walter joins every workspace you own.

  • You need a card as your payment method. Wallets and pay-later methods can't pay for the switch.

Can I switch back?

No, the switch is one-way. On an hours plan you can change your number of hours or your billing cadence, but you can't go back to an older plan. If your plan ends and you subscribe again later, the new subscription is an hours plan.

Older yearly plans

An older yearly plan runs to the end of its term and renews on the older plan. You can switch before then: you stay on yearly billing with the same renewal date, and pay the difference for the rest of the year on the day you switch.
