Getting started with Marblism

Meet your AI team, set them up, and get your first results.

Written by Ulric Musset

Marblism gives your business a team of AI employees. Each one has a job, works in its own chat, and keeps working between your messages. Here's how to get set up and get your first results.

Meet your AI team

  • Eva, executive assistant: sorts your inbox, drafts replies for you to send, manages your calendar and takes notes in your meetings.

  • Sonny, social media manager: writes and designs your social posts, and publishes them when you say so.

  • Penny, blog writer: writes SEO blog posts and publishes them to your website when you approve.

  • Stan, sales assistant: finds leads that match your targeting and contacts them with email and LinkedIn campaigns.

  • Rachel, receptionist: answers calls on her own phone number, books appointments, transfers important calls to you and sends you a summary of each call.

  • Linda, legal assistant: drafts legal documents and talks through contracts you share with her in chat.

  • Walter, website builder (hours plans): builds and hosts your website, and connects your own domain.

Your whole team is added when you create your workspace. Each business can have its own workspace, with its own AI team and Brain.

Set up each AI employee

Open an AI employee's chat and click Onboard with their name (for example Onboard Eva). You can chat with them once setup is done.

  • Eva: connect your inbox (Google, Microsoft or another provider) and, if you like, your calendar. She never sends emails from your inbox.

  • Sonny and Penny: answer a few questions about your style and topics. You connect your social accounts or website later, in their settings.

  • Stan: connect the inbox he sends from, and your LinkedIn account if you want LinkedIn outreach.

  • Rachel: choose her phone number's country and area code, her greeting and instructions, and whether she transfers calls or books appointments.

  • Walter: tell him about your current website, or start fresh.

  • Linda: no setup needed. Start chatting.

To change anything later, click the gear icon in the AI employee's chat. For everything you can connect, see What integrations are available?

Give them work

  • Chat: ask in their chat, by typing or with a voice message.

  • Schedules: ask for something at a set time or on repeat (daily, weekly, monthly). They confirm repeating work with you first.

  • Tasks: the Tasks page lists everything planned and done. Click Add task to plan one yourself.

  • Their own routines: after setup, Sonny checks in every day with ideas or a new draft, Penny does the same every week, Stan finds new leads every day for campaigns with Daily sourcing on, and Eva sorts every new email.

Not sure what to ask? Try the Starter Prompts.

You stay in control

  • Posts and blog posts start as drafts. Nothing goes live until you publish or schedule it, or ask them to.

  • Stan's campaigns send nothing until you turn on Outreach. With Auto-approve new leads off, you review each new lead first.

  • Walter's website goes live only when you click Publish.

  • Eva saves her replies as drafts in your inbox for you to send.

  • Apps you connect ask for your OK before anything is changed.

  • Pause any AI employee from the … menu in their chat.

💡 One thing goes out on its own: after a meeting with action items, Eva emails a summary of the key takeaways to the other guests. To turn it off, open Eva's settings, go to Notetaker and switch off Email summary to participants.

Teach them

  • Guidelines: Eva, Sonny and Penny have a Guidelines tab for your rules, like your writing style.

  • Just tell them: they remember lasting facts from your chats, and turn "always" or "never" instructions into guidelines. You can also say "remember…" or "forget…".

  • Brain: add your company knowledge, like webpages, files and notes. Your website's main page is added for you.

  • Workspace: your business description, target customers, language and tone of voice. Only the owner can change them.

Find your way around

  • Chats: one chat per AI employee, with tabs for their work (for example Sonny's Posts, or Stan's Leads and Campaigns).

  • Workspace: your business details.

  • Brain: your company knowledge.

  • Integrations: the apps your AI employees can work in.

  • Team: invite teammates (owners and managers).

  • Tasks: everything scheduled and done.

  • My Account: your profile, notifications and Usage and billing, where the owner sees the plan, the hours used and where they went.

How hours work

Chatting and changing settings are free. The work your AI team does, like drafting an email, writing a post or answering a call, uses your plan's monthly hours. See How do credits and hours work? and Marblism pricing plans & billing cadence.

Get help

  • Getting-started checklist: if you picked your priorities at sign-up, a checklist in Chats walks you through your first steps.

  • Onboarding sessions: join a live session with our team. See Do you offer Onboarding Calls?

  • Each AI employee's guide: click … in their chat, then How to work with me?

  • Mobile app: for iPhone, iPad and Android. You create your account and manage billing on the website. See Is there a mobile app?

  • Talk to us: click Need help? at the bottom of the left menu.
