When you collaborate in a shared workspace, you can choose how your team members work with AI Employees - either together in shared chats or individually with personal assistants. This gives you full control over visibility, settings, and access.

⚠️ Important: Currently, it’s not possible to change collaboration mode after a user has been added to the workspace.

Team

In Team Mode, you can create group chats with your AI employees and your team. Everyone can chat, view updates, and contribute to the same conversation. The agent’s settings, memory, and knowledge base are also shared, keeping context consistent for everyone.

When you invite someone to a shared AI chat, their profile picture & name appear at the top of the screen so you can see who is in the team chat.

Example Workflows:

  • A shared chat with the Social Media Manager, Sonny for drafting, scheduling, and reviewing social posts together.

  • A shared chat with your Blog Writer, Penny to draft, edit, and review articles together before publishing them on your site.

Personal

In Personal Mode, each team member gets their own instance of an AI Employee. Their chats, memory, and configuration stay private - perfect when every teammate needs their own assistant or setup.

Example Workflows:

  • Assign each team member their own Executive Assistant, Eva to manage their personal inbox and calendar.

  • Give every salesperson their own Sales Associate, Stan so they can run independent outreach sequences from their own email accounts.

Choosing between Team and Personal collaboration lets you balance privacy with teamwork, making it easy to decide how your AI Employees fit into your company’s workflow.
