Sonny will build a video project card that includes the script, format, duration, quality, captions, and any references. Nothing is generated yet at this stage. You're just setting up the brief.
✏️ Step 2: Review and Adjust the Draft
Before generating anything, review and refine the draft as much as you want. All of this is free:
Edit the script, shot by shot.
Add references: up to 30 images, 10 video clips, or 10 audio files. References help the AI use your actual product, face, or brand instead of inventing its own version.
Choose your format: 9:16 (Reels/Stories), 3:4 (IG feed), 1:1 (square), or 16:9 (YouTube).
Set the duration: 4 to 30 seconds, or leave it on automatic.
Toggle captions on or off, with clean, karaoke, or bold styles.
⭐ Pro tip: Add a short voice recording as an audio reference, and Sonny will have the AI imitate your voice for narration. Great for making content feel like you.
🚀 Step 3: Generate
When the draft looks right, click Generate. This creates a "take", a rendered version of the video. Takes consume hours from your monthly plan based on duration and quality.
💡 "Hours" is your plan's billing unit, shared across all agents. A 5-second SD clip costs about 1.3 plan hours; that does not mean the clip is 1.3 hours long.
🎯 Step 4: Compare and Choose
Not happy with the first take? Generate another. Each generation creates a new take alongside the previous ones. Nothing is ever overwritten. Compare all your versions and pick the one that works best.
⚠️ Failed takes cost nothing. You only pay for takes that complete successfully.

Your first 2 videos are free, for any duration or quality. These are lifetime per subscription and do not reset monthly.
